E61 Jubilé
It is 1961 and Faema writes an important page of its history and the history of professional espresso machines by launching the E61 model.
Today Faema offers a re-edition of his jewel.Faithful in the forms and materials to the tradition, E61 is updated in the technical contents the modern barista will love in this iconic machine.
E61, a tribute to the solar eclipse that fell in Italy in that year, is the first machine to use a volumetric pump, to give water the ideal pressure of 9 atmospheres, keeping it constant throughout the entire dispensing process, contrary to what it happened with lever machines.
Automatic recovery of water in the boiler, built-in volumetric pump, two pressure gauges for pump and boiler pressure control and adjustable thermal balancing system (Faema patent). E61 is available in the semi-automatic version "Legend" and in the automatic version "Jubilé", which provides for the dosage of water and coffee selections.
In the E61 Jubilé, provides the barista with preset buttons to ensure a consistent extraction and allows for a faster more efficient use of the machine. The E61 accounts for the required extension of the contact time between the water and the ground coffee before extraction favour an optimal extraction of all the organoleptic properties of the espresso.
